Arcade's Dropbox toolkit lets LLMs interact with a user's Dropbox account to browse, search, and retrieve files. Authentication is handled via OAuth 2.0, so no credentials are embedded in tool calls.
Capabilities
- File retrieval — Download files by path or ID; either identifier is accepted, but at least one must be supplied.
- Folder listing — Enumerate files and folders within any folder path, with cursor-based pagination; items may appear across multiple pages.
- Search — Query files and folders by name or metadata across a folder subtree; results are paginated via cursor (up to 10,000 items cumulatively), and only the cursor is needed on subsequent pages.
OAuth
This toolkit uses OAuth 2.0 with Dropbox as the identity provider. Configure the integration in Arcade using the Dropbox auth provider docs.
