Zendesk is a customer support platform; this toolkit enables agents and applications to manage support tickets, read conversations, and search Help Center knowledge base articles via the Zendesk API.
Capabilities
- Ticket management — list tickets with offset-based pagination, mark tickets solved, and add public or internal comments; every ticket response includes a direct
html_urllink. - Conversation access — retrieve full comment threads for any ticket, including the original description, author IDs, timestamps, visibility flags, and file attachments.
- Knowledge base search — search published Help Center articles by query text and/or label names, with combined multi-filter support and offset pagination.
- Identity & account context — retrieve the authenticated user's profile, role, organization, and Zendesk account metadata.
OAuth
Authentication uses OAuth 2.0 via the Zendesk provider. See the Arcade Zendesk auth provider docs for setup details.
Secrets
ZENDESK_SUBDOMAIN— Your Zendesk account subdomain (the{subdomain}part ofhttps://{subdomain}.zendesk.com). Find it in your Zendesk Admin Center under Account > Branding, or simply read it from your browser's address bar when logged in. This value is required so the toolkit knows which Zendesk instance to target; it is not a credential but must be configured as a secret.
See the Arcade secrets configuration guide for how to register secrets, or manage them directly at https://api.arcade.dev/dashboard/auth/secrets.
